Rachel Sha is a seasoned Associated Real Estate Broker for market leader Douglas Elliman. As a top producer among thousands of realtors in this international known firm, she has repeatedly won the Chairman’s Circle Platinum awards. She is named America’s Best Real Estate Agent by REAL Trends, a ranking of all real estate agents across the US, advertised in the Wall Street Journal.
This long-time New York resident of Manhattan and Long Island brings a deep commitment to clients and respect for community to her work. Rachel, who is fluent in English and Mandarin, is noted for her personal touch. She rarely uses assistants and prefers guiding her customers through the entire buying and selling process. She uses her vast knowledge, keen sense of value, understanding of market trend, familiarity of inventory, strong work ethics, and years of experience to best serve her clients. She believes the hallmark of service is being substantive and professional. She is discreet, warm, caring, efficient, direct, and results oriented. Because she focuses on quality rather than quantity, she has to be selective in choosing who she works with. This, of course, ultimately benefits her clients. She only takes on what she can deliver; her records certainly show this to be true.
Originally from Shanghai, China. Rachel came to the US to attend boarding school at the Masters School. She went on to Cornell University, where she earned both her Bachelor and Master of Engineering degrees. After working in risk management in finance and wealth management consulting for over a decade, Rachel transferred her analytical skills, financial expertise and market savvy into the real estate world.
Rachel believes in giving back to the community. She is a former trustee for the Museum of Chinese in American and the Queens Botanical Gardens. She was on the Parent Teacher Students Association at Great Neck South High School and a Long Island member of Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network.
